The 2010 Camp Challenge Triathlon

NEW THIS YEAR

3 Adult Divisions

Male Division – 12 (by Aug 2) and older all male

Female Division – 12 (by Aug 2) and older All Female

Co-Ed Division – 12 (by Aug 2) and older mixed

 

New Rules: There will be no handicaps this year, If you want to participate make sure you have the right equipment.

Start Time: 6:30PM

The course: 6.2 mile bike - 400Meter Swim - 3.1 mile cross country run.

Registration Fee: $4.00 per person (12.00 per team) although this fee will help offset, it will not cover the total cost of awards.

Teams: A team consists of 2 or 3 participants, any team member can do up to 2 events. There will be no Ironman division this year to encourage team participation.

Awards: Awards to all members of 1, 2 and 3 place teams in each division, Awards to fastest male and female biker, runner and swimmer

This is a well organized event and there is much preparation involved, please register your team as soon as possible – this will allow us to assign numbers to your teams prior to race day.

Results: Official results and accurate times for each individual will be kept, recorded and posted on www.lwplanner.org. Copies of results will be distributed. 

There will not be a youth challenge this year due to lack of participation in 2009. We have however, lowered the age limit to 12 this year for the adult challenge, you must be 16 and older to compete on the bike. All swimmers must pass deep end test and be approved prior, and an adult 18 or older must be on a team with a youth.

NOTE: Any person that wishes to compete Ironman style may do so..But please understand – You will be competing against teams as well. If you compete in an Ironman format your fee will only be 4.00.
